Chami Hameed - The Yin and Yang

The yin and yang—
wooing each other,
light not fighting shadow,
but courting it.

Stillness inviting motion,
motion yielding to stillness—
not in conflict,
but in sacred romance.

Duality, melting into oneness—
form and formless,
dancing as one.

Birth and death.
Silence and sound.
Chaos and order.
Nirvana...
and Samsara.

Not in opposition,
but in courtship—
each calling the other home.

Two faces of the same eternal presence—
one reveals what the other conceals.
They arise together,
giving form to one another.
Neither can exist without the other,
for only in defining one
does the other become.

Locked in a lover’s embrace,
mirroring each other's gaze,
the masculine and feminine,
they waltz across the cosmos—
a shimmering veil of Maya
whispering—

Peekaboo.
I am you.
And—
you are me.
