Hafiz Oracle - Divine guidance for a blissful life

John McIntosh - Do you understand?

Do you understand … really understand what it means that there ‘are’ no OTHERS? There ‘is’ nothing else but YOU … do you really get this?

This world you seem to live in … and ‘that’ - within a universe, perhaps – you think, many universes … do you understand that none of it is separate from Who You Really Are? For most who have come this far … these concepts are still just ideas they have heard and read about – not REALLY understand or FELT as True.

To the mind, that false identity most believe is who they are – imbedded within a body that seems separate from this world-universe … everything IS apart from it. But the Truth is … you are swimming in a limitless ocean of YOU-ness. The hero ‘and’ the villain – they are both ‘extensions’ of YOU and YOU get to witness these aspects of YOU playing ‘off’ each other - multiplied infinitely.

Yes, it’s True that what YOU are witnessing is an illusion, a movie scripted from the conditioning that defines the parameters of this Grand Dream. However, for now, YOU ‘are’ IN it and whether you have the Awareness that this ‘is’ a play of images on the screen of Consciousness or still believe there is some kind of reality to it … YOU ‘are’ IN it.

This ‘understanding’ … this Awareness that EVERYTHING you are witnessing ‘and’ experiencing IS an extension of YOU – the full potential that the ONE SELF that is Nothing with infinite potential – IS … is playing in a field of dreams – makes ALL the difference

Farid ud-Din Attar - About True Seekers

Wayfarer, know that in the battlefield of pain,
love may come with annihilation.
You whose existence is mingled
with nonexistence,
you whose joys are mingled with grief,
if you don't experience some ups and downs,
how will you ever know relief?
You bravely strike like lightning,
then cover yourself with rubbish
to protect against the shock.
What are you doing?
Rise up like a true seeker.
Set fire to reason
and flare into a mad lover.
If you hesitate over this alchemy,
at least come and take a quick look.
How long will you stay in your head?
Become like me, leave your self.
For once, show foresight
so that in the end you too can become
a dervish and joyfully arrive
at annihilation of the self.
I who am neither myself nor other than myself
have traveled beyond reason, good and evil thoughts.
I've lost my self within myself.
The only cure is the incurable.
When the sun of poverty landed on me,
both worlds twirled together into a single shaft of light.
And when I saw that column of light
I passed on into no self; became
a drop of water and joined the stream.
All that I had won and lost,
I threw away into black waters.
I disappeared, became lost, void.
I became a shadow without a single atom,
a drop of water that had joined the ocean.
Good luck finding that droplet.
Such loss of self is not for all,
but I joined the eternal union
and there are many like me.
Who in the world, from a dust mote to the moon,
wouldn't want to be lost this way?

Michael Markham - indefinable presence

We can never truly know who or what we are because there is no solid, independent "self" to be known. There is only a shifting reflection, a hologram composed of memory, thought, and perception.
The identity taken for granted, the "me" that feels so real, is nothing more than a collection of past experiences, conditioned responses, and inherited narratives stitched together by the objectifying brain to create the illusion of continuity.
When examined closely, there is nothing tangible at the center, no fixed essence, no autonomous entity directing the show, only a fluid, self-referential process that arises moment by moment.
Like a hologram, this sense of self appears three-dimensional, vivid, and convincing, yet it has no actual substance. It is generated by the brain’s objectification, which separates and categorizes experience into subjects and objects, past and future, self and other.
But outside of this mental framework, there is no "self" that exists apart from the thoughts that describe it. We are echoes of memory, patterns of recognition, fleeting reflections shimmering across the surface of sentience.
Because of this, the very act of seeking to know ourselves is paradoxical. The seeker is nothing more than the seeking itself, an illusion chasing its own tale.
Any answer the mind arrives at will only reinforce the illusion, solidifying the belief that there is someone there to be understood. But when this illusion is seen through, what remains is not a void, not a lack, but an openness, an infinite, indefinable presence that has never needed a name, a story, or an identity to simply be.

Kabir - It is One

Does [the Muslim's God] Khuda, live only in the mosque?
Is [the Hindu's God] Ram, only in idols and holy grounds?
Have you searched and found Him there?
You imagine that Hari [Vishnu] is in the East, and Allah is in the West;
But search for Him only in the heart-that is where Ram and Karim both live.
Which, then, is false, the Quran or the Vedas? False is the man who does not see the Truth.
It is One; It is the same One in all. How can you imagine that It is two?
Says Kabir: 0 Lord, every man and every woman are Your own forms;
I am the simple child of Allah-Ram; He is my Guru, my Pir
Brother, where did your two gods come from? Ram, Allah; Keshav, Karim; Hari, Hazrat-so many names!
There may be many golden ornaments, but there is one gold; it has no two-ness in it.
Merely for the sake of exposition, we make of the One, two.
