Wei Wu Wei - "you"

“As long as there is a ‘you’ doing or not doing, anything, thinking or not thinking,
‘meditating’ or not meditating’, ‘you’ are no nearer home than the day you were born.
However many years ‘you’ may have been at it, and whatever you have understood,
you have not yet started if there is a ‘you’ that is still in the saddle.
As long as ‘you’ do anything from a you, you are in ‘bondage’.
Here the word ‘you’ stands for any object that appears to act or not act,
that is any phenomenon as such.
‘You’ stands for any such object which believes that it acts volitionally
as an autonomous entity, and is thereby bound by identification with a phenomenon.”

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee/Thomas Merton - On Silence

"For those brave enough to trust something deeper, to listen to the Earth and the old ways,
the pandemic presents an opportunity to turn away from the clutter
and distractions of our outer life, to the deeper roots of our being.
Here our soul nourishes us, here we can be replenished,
and here we can help replenish our world.
The Earth is dying from the ravages of our culture’s materialistic nightmare
that pollutes the air we breathe and the water we drink
and starves our soul of its natural connection to the sacred.
In the silence, we can drink deeply of the waters of life that are still pure;
we can commune with the primal forces of nature;
we can return to what is sacred and essential to our life and to the life of the Earth."

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee ~ From: The Natural Order Of Things

To deliver oneself up,
to hand oneself over,
entrust oneself completely to the silence
of a wide landscape of woods and hills,
or sea and desert; to sit still while
the sun comes up over the land
and fills its silences with light.
...few are willing to belong completely
to such silence, to let it soak into their bones,
to breathe nothing but silence, to feed
on silence, and to turn the very substance of their life
into a living and vigilant silence.

Jean Klein - On Love

 “Love is the greatest emotion.
Love is the only emotion.
Love is eternal.
All emotion arises and dies in love.
Everything else is emotivity, states,
transitions, all feeling that is in
Time and space, bound to an object.

Love is without object.
It is completely unconditioned.
The heart of existence is love.
All that exists is in our heart.

Love is unexpressed.
The radiation of love comes from love and
brings you back to the unexpressed.
When you love you come back to yourself.
You love yourself, not your person.
You love your own love, free from body,
free from senses, free from mind.

In love there are no negative feelings,
no hate, no fear, no moods, no anxiety,
      no compulsion , no conflict.
Love is beyond the split mind, beyond
       high and low, beyond complementarity.
The heart has no division.
The one you love is yourself.
The one you hurt is yourself.

There are glimpses of love when
You are free from The I- image.
Remember the glimpse.
Remember the moment of no- relationship,
      no other.
When you love yourself, you love another.
When there is no you, there is no other.
Only love.

You must be ripe to love. Be ready.
Knowing yourself in your absence of self.
Love is only when there is no you.
Love is in your total absence.
In total absence is total presence.
Is Love.
