Eric Baret - The simplest thing ever

If I can agree with conscience, can I reach the essence?

Take a moment to disagree with your conscience...
What could you be other than your conscience? You are not a red zebra located outside of consciousness to make agreement with it. This consciousness is you when you stop seeking anything, when you stop pretending to have the power to agree or disagree.
In your silence, between two thoughts, two perceptions, in deep sleep and in all times - because time appears in consciousness - your life is in perfect agreement with consciousness.
Delete any ideological comment about your life. Your knowledge about life prevents you from seeing how perfect it is. There is nothing to change about it. Your life changes that's life. You don't have to agree with anything. Otherwise you will always feel disagreement.
Wanting to be in agreement is scary. Afraid of what? The cause of fear is imaginary. At some point we stop shaking. What is presented is the deal. When I no longer call it positive or negative, success or failure, what comes up is none other than myself, but my resonance: there, there is real agreement. This is not an agreement of subject to object, it is an agreement of oneness, without separation. An agreement with your body when it suffers or functions, with life in what it offers you. Without asking to fulfill, to receive anything.
This is extraordinary to listen to. This transcends what we hear. The deep agreement of life is to listen.
To be a moment without asking, without waiting, is the simplest thing ever. This connects you to all beings, all worlds. There is symbiosis.
If you try to agree with anything, you agree with an ideology: if you are Muslim you agree with Sharia or Tarika, if you are Buddhist you agree with Sangha or dharma; with your concepts if you are an atheist etc. That deal is not worth a bit.
You have to come to terms with what is happening in the moment. But you can't do this It's grace that calls you and you refuse every moment because you want to be in agreement with the next moment... See the mechanism.
The emotion that arises in me, is with her that I have to be in agreement. There is nothing else.
