Natural love has no intent, direction, purpose, or consciousness. 

Natural love is empty: empty of you, of me, of this, or that. 

Natural love does not begin with something or someone, 

it does not reach something or someone. 

Natural love takes nothing and leaves nothing, 

it doesn't want and doesn't know. 

Natural love neither grows nor diminishes, it doesn't come or go. 

Natural love has no time or distance, center or boundaries. 

Natural love cannot be sought, found, or claimed. 

Natural love needs nothing. 

Natural love is already inseparably everything that is and isn't 

at the same time, everything that seems to happen. 

Natural love is nothing that appears as everything... 

Natural love is already limitlessly complete, perfect, at peace.

Question: How can I tell if I am making progress with my enquiry?

Bhagavan: The degree of the absence of thoughts is the measure of your progress towards Self-realisation. But Self-realisation itself does not admit of progress, it is ever the same. The Self remains always in realisation. The obstacles are thoughts. Progress is measured by the degree of removal of the obstacles to understanding that the Self is always realised. So thoughts must be checked by seeking to whom they arise. So you go to their source, where they do not arise.

Question: Doubts are always arising. Hence my question.

Bhagavan: A doubt arises and is cleared. Another arises and that is cleared, making way for yet another; and so it goes on. So there is no possibility of clearing away all doubts. See to whom the doubts arise. Go to their source and abide in it. Then they cease to arise. That is how doubts are to be cleared.

If I manage to be aligned with Consciousness, can I reach Essence?
Try for just a moment not to be aligned with Consciousness…
What else could you be other than Consciousness? 
You are not a red zebra located outside of Consciousness, to align yourself with her. 
Consciousness is yourself when you stop looking for something, when you stop pretending that you have the freedom to be aligned or misaligned. In your silence, between two thoughts, two perceptions, in deep sleep and at all times—because time appears in Consciousness
—your life is in perfect agreement with Consciousness.
Give up every ideological commentary on your life. 
Your knowledge about life prevents you from seeing how perfect it is. There is nothing to change. Your life changes, that is life. 
You don’t have to align yourself with anything. 
Otherwise you will always feel misaligned.
Wanting to be aligned is fear. Fear of what? 
The cause of the fear is imaginary. 
At some point you stop shaking. What is showing up is alignment. 
When I don’t call it positive or negative anymore, success or failure, what shows up is nothing but myself, my resonance: 
there lies true alignment. 
It is not the alignment of a subject toward an object, it is a total alignment, without separation. 
It is alignment with your body when it hurts or when it works, alignment with life with what it has to offer, with no demand to accomplish, to get anything.
It is extraordinary to listen. That transcends what you are listening to. 
Listening is deeply aligning with life.
To be without demand, without expectation, for a moment, is the simplest thing in the world. 
It connects you with every being, every world. 
There lies symbiosis.
If you try to align with something, whatever it is, what you align with is an ideology: 
if you’re a Muslim, you align with sharia or your tarika; 
if you’re a Buddhist, you align with the Sangha or the Dharma; 
if you are an atheist, you stand behind your concepts… 
That kind of alignment has very little value.
You need to align with what shows up in the moment. 
But that you cannot do. 
It is grace which calls you and which you turn down at every moment because you want to be aligned with the next moment. 
Observe the mechanism.
The emotion that arises in me, that is what I need to align with. 
There is nothing else.

Where are you?

Here is the beloved, here!

Your beloved lives next door

wall to wall

why do you wander

round and round the desert?

If you look into the face of Love

and not just at its superficial form

You yourselves become the house of God

and are its lords

Ten times

you trod the trek unto that house

For once

come into this house

climb onto this roof

That sweet house of sanctity –

you have described its features in detail

but now give me some indication

of the features of its Lord

If you have seen that garden,

where is your bouquet of souvenirs?

If you are from God’s sea,

where is your mother pearl of soul?

And yet, may all your troubles

bring you treasure!

Too bad that you yourselves are veiling

the treasures hid within

All experiences are transitory.

The wise man neither seeks nor
Rejects them.
In this manner,
One remains rooted in
The Unchanging,

The stage upon which
All change occurs.
For many,
What they believe to be
Their castle,
is in fact
Their jail.

The addiction to the drug called intellect,
Results in analysis of everything.
All this perusal,
Evaluation and
Analysis complicates
What is simple.

Becoming purely receptive
Strips away the false,
Leaving the great gate to open,
 then
What-Is is clearly comprehended.

Embracing change is

Embracing What-is

In every moment.

It is saying “yes”

To Life,

Not Life as one would have it

But life as it is.

It is understanding that

There is no one

Doing anything

Other than

The Doer

And that each is an actor

On the stage.

The script is written

The sets arranged.

Watch the play,

Enjoy it.

Laugh, cry,

But never make the story

Your own.

All there is is consciousness.

Consciousness is all there is.

In the absence of consciousness,

What is there?

All manifestation

Appears in consciousness

Disappears in consciousness.

Consciousness is the precondition for

All perception.

Everything perceived

Is perceived

By consciousness as

An object in consciousness,

Including the perceiver.

Understand this and

Then grow your carrots.
