Jnaneshvar - Ever-content in Itself

Discarding the veil of duality
And all the pairs of opposites,
    That alone remains
    In Its own blessed state.

If a face does not look into a mirror,
There is neither a face before it
    Nor behind it.
Likewise, He is neither happiness nor misery,
    But pure Bliss itself.

Even before the sugar cane is planted,
    The juice is within it;
    But its sweetness is unknown
    Except to itself.

    Pure Consciousness is beyond
    Both generalizations and particular statements;
    It remains ever-content in Itself.

    After such a discourse,
    That speech is wise
    Which drinks deeply of silence.

    Truly, there is neither bondage nor freedom;
There is nothing to be accomplished.
There is only the pleasure of expounding.

Papaji - Just This

There is no where to run.  wherever you are.  You are here.  There is no there.  If you go to show me there it is always here.  Any there is always still only This here.  There is no there, there is no then.  There is just this here and now.  And even that is saying to much.  It as close as words seem to get, but the words always objectify.  As nouns ‘here’ and ‘now’ can never describe what I am, what you are, or what this is.  Verbs would be closer perhaps…..’hereing’, ‘nowing’.  These words sound strange because all language objectifies what is. ‘What is’, is never an object, or the multitude of objects that we describe it as. Even making ‘This’ all one object, as in ‘This’, or ‘It’, or ‘Now’ or ‘Here’ is missing the mystery.  The ‘mystery’ is that there are no nouns for what This really is and what I really am.  I say ‘the mystery’, and yet paradoxically in one way there is no mystery at all.  In the realisation and seeing that there is only what I AM I don’t see another world, I don’t see what isn’t. The only thing that is seen as what isn’t is ‘me’.  I don’t see the future, or the past that is what ‘me’ has always done. I just see This in all it’s wonderful ordinariness. I don’t know it, I don’t understand it.  I don’t know what This is.  I don’t know what I am.  I don’t know what you are.  Without referring to ‘me’ I don’t need to know.  It is only ‘me’ that needs to know.

There is simply the seeing of This as it is; just what is.  What is, is eternal movement that is eternally still.  What is, is an eternal growth and decay that is never born and never dies.  This has no form and is every form.  I am This. And you are This.  There is nothing special in This, because everything is It. When the sense of being a ‘me’ fades’ or is seen through then the extraordinary ordinariness of This can be seen, but never understood, never ‘got’, never ‘achieved’.  There is no one to get it.  It is already.  There is nothing to get, there is nothing to be done, because it is already everything.

Meister Eckhart - Inner Temple

Ahhh The Beloved rests in the Inner Temple,
What a joy it is to make that journey to greet Her.
Her light is so pure… so orgasmic!!

Have you noticed?

The fact of experience itself being illuminated by the Inner light
emanating from that Inner Temple?

Theologians of different tradition argue about Allah and Christ, Krishna and the like.
Why haven’t they just turned around?
It’s all the same light or else we wouldn’t even be able to quarrel!
They are seeking outward confirmations!!

Israel and The Jews are killing and starting wars to get to the ‘Promised Land’! Their ‘Promised Land’ they think it is here on Earth in a spatio-temporal location made up of elements? Don’t they realize that the Earth has a finite life? Their 'Promised Land’ will vanish!  No matter how much they fight, they cannot stop the expansion of the Sun into a Red Giant. And the Earth’s destruction with it.

Nay the true Promised Land is the Inner Temple within and it never vanishes for it is The Unborn. A mind turned outwardly finds division and particularity. A mind turned inwardly finds The Beloved as Consciousness illuminating all experience. I cry that there will be a time when we can realize this. Otherwise these religions are disgusting and promote nothing but more suffering and separateness in the world.
It’s a battle of culture in which religion is mixed up in.
Untangle religion and see how it is inseparable from spirituality which is the freedom to base your understanding of That Raw Creative Principle on your own experience, instead of having to force that experience to mold to your cultural religious tradition for fear of persecution as a lot of Mystics down the ages have had to do. “Theologians across the world argue endlessly.

The Mystics speak the same language for they are all from the same country.”

Jiddu Krishnamurti to Himself

“We have broken up the earth as yours and mine – your nation, my nation, your flag and his flag, this particular religion and the religion of the distant man. The world, the earth, is divided, broken up. And for it we fight and wrangle, and the politicians exult in their power to maintain this division, never looking at the world as a whole. They haven’t got the global mind. They never feel nor ever perceive the immense possibility of having no nationality, no division, they can never perceive the ugliness of their power, their position and their sense of importance. They are like you or another, only they occupy the seat of power with their petty little desires and ambitions, and so maintain apparently, as long as man has been on this earth, the tribal attitude towards life. They don’t have a mind that is not committed to any issue, to any ideals, ideologies – a mind that steps beyond the division of race, culture, that the religions man has invented.

“Governments must exist as long as man is not a light to himself, as long as he does not live his daily life with order, care, diligently working, watching, learning. He would rather be told what to do. He has been told what to do by the ancients, by the priests, by the gurus, and he accepts their orders, their peculiar destructive disciplines as though they were gods on this earth, as though they knew all the implications of this extraordinarily complex life.

"Sitting there, high above all the trees, on a rock that has its own sound like every living thing on this earth, and watching the blue sky, clear, spotless, one wonders how long it will take for man to learn to live on this earth without wrangles, rows, wars and conflict. Man has created the conflict by his division of the earth, linguistically, culturally, superficially. One wonders how long man, who has evolved through so many centuries of pain and grief, anxiety and pleasure, fear and conflict, will take to live a different way of life.”

Ashtavakra Gita - Quotes

O how wonderful!
I am awareness itself,
No less.
The world is a magic show!
But in me
There is nothing to embrace,
And nothing to turn away.

Nisargadatta Maharaj - No resistance

No particular thought can be mind's natural state, only silence.
Not the idea of silence, but silence itself.
When the mind is in its natural state, it reverts to silence spontaneously
after every experience, or, rather, every experience happens against the background of silence.
It has nothing to do with effort.
Just turn away, look between the thoughts, rather than at the thoughts.
When you happen to walk in a crowd, you do not fight every man you meet,
you just find your way between.
When you fight, you invite a fight.
But when you do not resist, you meet no resistance.
When you refuse to play the game, you are out of it.
