Ulla - ONE voice

What rest in Silence but the first sigh so words could out of it fly!
Consciousness is stirred by a Thought that is heard!

One Voice!

There are many speakers, only ONE voice.
Appearing separate and with a choice.

In the hall of mirrors the ONE stand,
Giving reflections of more than ONE brand.

Mistaken itself with more is Existences constant chore,
Yet, always ONE at the core.

In form through continuity,
Boundless divinity, formless in infinity,

Never born, never to die, Existence freely fly.

When in the stillness there are no pieces and chess.
Only ONEness in recess.

Embracing nothingness in its fold,
No formless or form to hold.

~~~~~~~
One Space!
There is only ONE space,
With plenty of stars and planets to have a base.
Stars and planets come and depart,
Like a supernova that split apart.
Space remain even when there are no objects to detain.
The backdrop of space is the ONE essence of Grace.
Stars and planets may go ablaze,
What remains leave no trace,
The untouched silence of space.
~~~~~~~~~

Encompassing Sea!

There is a still and encompassing silent Sea,
Embracing the moment HERE and NOW and BE.

Until the stirring of a wave for movement crave,
Creating a turf where Life can surf, ahead or reverse.

The future and past was born with a wave that was torn.
Along with the many characters that necessitate the cast,

That appears in Life so real and filled with contrast.
Until the wave reach the shore and once again returns to the silent core.

Bentinho Massaro - from "Insights Into Awareness"

You are not in the World, the World appears in You
All appearances together is what we may call the world, or sometimes it is
called Maya. It is much like a dream-world which simply appears/exists
within mind/consciousness.
There cannot truly be proven to be a world 'out there' that's separate from
awareness. „Separate from Awareness‟ means that it exists as something
other than pure perception; as an individual object, an autonomous
reality.
Even if we could find solid indications of there being an actual world out
there, separate from awareness, then where would that perception/proof
occur? By what is it known? That very piece of evidence and the process
of investigation, all appears within awareness.
Can we prove something, can we state something is here, when we are
not aware of that perception?
As an analogy, Einstein once suggested: "Does the moon really exist if we
are not looking at it?"
The entire world exists within awareness. Like a dream, it exists within the
mind alone and is never separate from mind. Dream = Mind, World =
Awareness. There is no dream that does not consist of mind. There is no
dream that exists of some individual substance or power/nature. All
appearances within a dream, no matter how real they look and feel to the
sensory perceptions, consists of Mind/Awareness and appear in
Mind/Awareness alone.

So too does the „biggest‟ appearance of all: The world in its totality, the
universe, appear within awareness. In this sense we can use the proverb
that says: "You are not within the world, the world is within you."
We can try to pick apart our thoughts and emotions for an eternity as if
they are objects perceived by a perceiver, and not ever realize awareness
fully.
We have to start seeing that all appearances exist as one single
appearance/perception and that all 'individual aspects' are nothing more
than one, total, pure perception within awareness.
Only if we start to recognize that awareness is free from, yet fully
pervades/permeates the appearances as a whole at all times, will we truly
make a shift in experiential consciousness, which starts to recognize the
natural presence of what's never touched by any appearance yet in which
all appearances exist as.

St. John of the Cross - The Ascent of Mount Carmel

The following verses were written by St. John of the Cross, the Spanish mystic of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, after having spent many months imprisoned in a small cell in Toledo, in 1578. These verses are from his drawing "The Ascent of Mount Carmel," which contained instructions for climbing to the summit, the high state of union:

To reach satisfaction in all
desire its possession in nothing.

To come to the knowledge of all
desire the knowledge of nothing.

To come to possess all
desire the possession of nothing.

To arrive at being all
desire to be nothing.

To come to the pleasure which you have not
you must go by a way in which you enjoy not.

To come to the knowledge which you have not
you must go by a way in which you know not.

To come to the possession you have not
you must go by a way in which you possess not.

To come to be what you are not
you must go by a way in which you are not.

When you turn toward something
you cease to cast yourself upon the all.
For to go from the all to the all
you must leave yourself in all.

And when you come to the possession of the all
you must possess it without wanting anything.

In this nakedness the spirit finds
its quietude and rest.

For in coveting nothing,
nothing raises it up
and nothing weighs it down,
because it is the center of its humility.

Mooji - You are bathing in Grace

Once you are present in the Energyfield of Self-discovery,
it's like you are a piece of ice in warm water.
The warm water is the Self. The ice is the mind.
The warm water is not fighting with the ice.
The ice can not resist the melting.

It is a natural and fatal attraction.

Chuang Tzu - from "The Empty Boat"

Who can free himself from achievement
And from fame, descend and be lost
Amid the masses of men?
He will flow like Tao, unseen,
He will go about like Life itself
With no name and no home.
Simple is he, without distinction.
To all appearances he is a fool.
His steps leave no trace. He has no power.
He achieves nothing, has no reputation.
Since he judges no one
No one judges him.
Such is the perfect man:
His boat is empty.

WEI WU WEI - The Great Joke

The Imperson witnesses everything 'we' do and everything 'we' think (all psychic and physical manifestation), and that is the great joke. For we ourselves are the Imperson, and the 'we' that acts and thinks is only a personalisation of the one Unself (Reality) seen as phenomenon, a notion that as phenomenon has neither permanence nor duration but is renewed every instant.

Duality (ignorance) is partial identification with the phenomenal 'we', which has no real existence, due to the I-concept therein, and non-duality (wisdom) is the dissolution of that partial identification, leaving us in our normal and unalterable identification with the Unself.

The term 'Imperson' is a dualistic term like any other, seeking to convey the essential impersonality of the Unself conceived, as is inevitable to us, as a 'person' that is not such.

It is difficult to approach more nearly by the use of words, which are essentially and incorrigibly dualist, but the Sages have sometimes made it clear that our best, perhaps our only, method of dissolving the false identification is by coming to recognise and to know ourselves as the witnessing Imperson, as which we both perceive 'our' actions physical and mental (which are in no sense ours) and 'ourselves' performing those actions (which in no sense do we perform).

Nisargadatta Maharaj - Favorite quotes

I find that somehow, by shifting the focus of attention, I become the very
thing I look at, and experience the kind of consciousness it has; I become
the inner witness of the thing. I call this capacity of entering other
focal points of consciousness, love; you may give it any name you like.
Love says "I am everything". Wisdom says "I am nothing". Between the two,
my life flows. Since at any point of time and space I can be both the
subject and the object of experience, I express it by saying that I am
both, and neither, and beyond both.

Mooji - Leave everything aside

Leave everything aside for a moment, this self-obsession with being someone special. Leave aside all these shallow concerns, projections, expectations that keep your mind floating like a bubble on the surface of the ocean of being.

Just try to be this formless presence in which this entire play is watched. Be neutral. Empty. Try to observe that which observes. Keep quiet. Your mind seems so afraid of this meeting which is with your true Beloved!

Now is as good a time as any. Once your heart accepts this invitation the whole universe is with you.

Francis Lucille on The Present Moment:

Meditation from Francis Lucille on The Present Moment:

"Go deeply into the present moment.

The only cause for suffering is our refusal or rejection of that which the present moment is offering.

We want it to be different.  We want it to be according to our own projection, to our own personal plan. We reject everything that goes against the personal plan and we want everything that is in accordance with our own personal plan for happiness.

The problem is that the personal plan for happiness is flawed and doesn’t work.  We have had enough experience with it in the past to know that it is flawed and that it doesn’t work.  We have inherited the personal plan for happiness from our parents, from our friends, from our surroundings.  And if we look at them, did it work for them?  And if it didn’t work for them, why would it work for us?

If we welcome the present moment, we will discover that in the present moment there is never a problem.  The problems and psychological suffering arise only in relation to the past and to the future of a personal entity.  In the now there is no such personal entity.  That’s the beauty of it.  Only the now is real.  The past doesn’t exist any longer and the future doesn’t exist yet, so only the now is real.  In the now there is no personal entity.

The personal entity exists only as a rejection of the now.

Ask yourself, “What is so unbearable in the now?”  We assume that the now is unbearable only because we have never experienced it to its fullest.  In fact, it is quite bearable.  In fact, the now is at peace and free from problems, free from suffering.  All we have to do is to meet the now in our welcoming.

The now is the bridge between time and eternity.  When we stop oscillating between the past and the future we start walking on that bridge.

The bridge is extremely narrow for the now is like an extremely narrow interval between the past and the future.  At the other end of the bridge there is Presence, timeless, eternal.

When we stop rejecting the now, things become simply neutral.  It is not that they become pleasant.  Appearances are neither pleasant nor unpleasant.  They are somehow irrelevant in terms of peace.  They become neutral.  We become indifferent to them.  They become as neutral as the ‘tick’ and the ‘tock’ of a clock, ticking away in the room, measuring the silence, measuring the Presence.  Because the rhythmic sound is so neutral, it doesn’t grab our attention for too long.  Our attention gets liberated from the object and meets itself as Presence.

These words are like the sound of the clock.  In and by themselves, they are just vibrations of little importance, revealing the timelessness from where they came, to which they return.

You cannot make an object out of this timelessness.  If you do so, you lose it.  You lose the freshness, the immediacy, the intimacy of it.  You cannot rest on any sensation.  You cannot even rest in the present moment.  Your eternal repose is in the Presence which is already here, which you already have because you already are it.

We are that which we are looking for.

Remember to always take your experience to its true level, which is the level of Presence.  Take it back to Presence, because that’s where it takes place.

Remember that no matter whether there is a world outside or no matter how many worlds, subtle or gross, there are, still the reality of our experience is unavoidable, undeniable, totally certain.

If you abide in the reality of your experience, which is your true nature, your true being, what can happen to you?

Everything that arises in the mind and in the world is this Presence exercising its infinite power to create, to sustain, to dissolve.  So take the experience of your mind, the thoughts, to their true level, which is Consciousness, this Presence.  There is no mind at that level, only thought arising in Presence.  During the presence of the thought, the thought is the Presence.  The thought and the Presence are one, because there is nothing separate from Presence, nothing outside this Presence, nothing that is not this Presence.

In the same way, take your bodily sensations to their true level.  Their true level is not the body; that’s not where they take place.  Their true level is not the mind.  Their true level is the Consciousness.

And when you do so, there is no mind and there is no body.  When you do so, you go straight to your deepest Being, to your true Being.
