UG Krishnamurti ~ The "I"

 

UG: “ The “I”, The “Self”, The “Ego”, or whatever you want to call it,
has a tremendous momentum gathered
over millions of years and IT WOULD NOT GO SO EASILY.

Hundreds and thousands of people have been practising
Asceticism,
Meditation,
Yoga,
And, whatnot, yet they are not FREED OF THE SELF.

THAT IS NOT THE WAY.

At best there may be a LOOSENING PROCESS but
these methods and techniques CAN NOT LIQUIDATE THE SELF.

Somebody was asking me if he could have a new bed partner every night and still PURSUE THIS PATH.
You can have a new bed partner every night and still this is possible.

( UG in a different context in time, informed that SEX AND YOGA can not go together,
but SEX AND SPIRITUALITY ARE BEDFELLOWS!)

That doesn't mean I want to encourage him in what he does
or that I am teaching immorality.
By indulging in promiscuous behaviour, you are in conflict with societal norms
and moral codes of conduct. You will be held accountable!
What I am pointing out is different; that what happened to me is possible for everybody.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ANYTHING SPECIAL,
FOLLOW ANY METHOD OR SYSTEM,
OR FOLLOW ANY TEACHER OR TECHNIQUE,
For this to happen.

So, I just want to send yourself packing.
I want you to TURN YOUR BACK ON THE WHOLE THING.
It has no value at all.

I AM NOTHING.
I HAVE NO FOUNDATION AND HAVE NO TEACHING.
YOU HAVE TO DO IT YOURSELF.
IN THIS, YOU ARE ALL ALONE.
NOBODY CAN BE A GUIDE AND
NOBODY CAN HELP YOU.
But, IT IS ALL SO SIMPLE, but
The simplicity of it all is so STAGGERING to you.

The one which is trying to understand is
THE VERY THING YOU HAVE TO BE FREE FROM.

Any attempt on your part to understand the SELF
or the WORLD AROUND you is useless,
Because that is the movement that is taking you away FROM WHAT IS THERE.

The Instant you realise this- then it is finished.
If you don't reach out,
If you don't want to become something else,
IF THIS “BECOMING PROCESS “ stops,
What is there is already there.
IT IS THAT.”

Khalil Gibran ~ The river

 It is said that before entering the sea
a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,
from the peaks of the mountains,
the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,
she sees an ocean so vast,
that to enter
there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.
The river can not go back.

Nobody can go back.
To go back is impossible in existence.

The river needs to take the risk
of entering the ocean
because only then will fear disappear,
because that’s where the river will know
it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,
but of becoming the ocean. 

 

 

Hafiz ~ This is Grace

The time of judging
Who is drunk or sober,
Who is right and who is wrong,
Who is closer to god, and who is farther away,
All that is over.
This caravan is led instead by a great delight,
The simple joy that sits with us now.
That is the grace.

Love ~

Our remembrance lies hidden deep in
the cave of the Heart - untouched...
The unspoken language of the Heart
longs to be opened - awakened...
The dormant vibration calls to us,
to resonate with the tones of Creation
in the Space of Silence ~

Listen deeply and hear the
Celestial Symphony
within the Stillness
of the Heart ~

Follow the cosmic waves,
the pulsing sound of Life,
into the Vastness
of Silence ~

Find your own resonance
with The Rhythm
in your Heart ~

~ and know ~

we are all a tone of Love
playing our uniqueness in the
Chord of Life,
reverberating with the
Sound of Source ~
