Aja - The truth of who you are

The truth of who you are is infinitely more profound, yet is only accessed by letting go of all ideas of who you are now - ALL of them. And the conceptions and ideas themselves are nearly infinite in their number and subtlety. This is what makes Awakening so difficult. As long as you have any idea or mental conception of who you are, you are yourself holding the pattern in the field of consciousness that maintains that belief existence. And if you try to let go of the beliefs one by one, you will first find that they are infinite, and secondly that the very idea of someone letting go of their beliefs becomes a very strong new identification that oversees all of the other beliefs. You have superimposed layers of personal beliefs over what is in fact consciousness alone. It has nothing to do with a personal entity. And yet, we literally fight to maintain the very individual existence which is the cause of our bondage and suffering. But the truth is that we do not exist as an individual any more than a mirage in the desert has water. It is due to a combination of circumstances only.

Chuck Surface - A Different “Place”

This Peace, this Bliss,
Has nothing to do with conditionality,
With “becoming” this or that,
With “changing”,
With “perfecting”,
With starting or stopping,
With “when” or “if”.

This Peace, this Bliss,
Exists in a different… “place”.
Within which, from which, as which,
This Dream takes place.

This Peace, this Bliss,
Untouched by this Dream,
But touching this Dream.

The Still Center of the turning worlds.
The locus of all creation,
Of all Experience.

This Peace, this Bliss,
Here… in the Heart of Being,
Always… right… Here.

Eli Jaxon-Bear - Way of the Bodhisattva

I Love, therefore I AM

"ama ergo sum" I love therefore i am.
(Our take on Descartes cogito ergo sum -"I realize, therefore i am")

What has love to do with the Essence and the identity of Man?

How important is love for being?

To ask how important is love for being is like asking how important is light to fire. Fire and light are inseparable but even more so are Being and Love. Being is Love. Love is Being. This is the true essence of Self. Self is the true identity of Man.

Eli Jaxon-Bear/The Leela Foundation

from the Bhagavad Gita

He who can see inaction
in the midst of action, and action
in the midst of inaction,  is wise
and can act in the spirit of yoga.

With no desire for success,
no anxiety about failure,
indifferent to results, he burns up
his action in the fire of wisdom.

Surrendering all thoughts of outcome,
unperturbed, self-reliant,
he does nothing at all, even
when fully engaged in actions.

There is nothing that he expects,
nothing that he fears. Serene,
free from possessions, untainted,
acting with the body alone,

content with whatever happens,
unattached to pleasure or pain,
success or failure, he acts
and is never bound by his action.

When a man has let go of attachments,
when his mind is rooted in wisdom,
everything he does is worship
and his actions all melt away. (BG 4.19.24)

Rick Linchitz: No You and no I, no Inside and no Outside

This Satsang with Rick has been recorded at the Rainbow Spirit Festival 2009 in Baden-Baden. Thanks a lot to the organizer of the festival for the permission of filming.

Everything arises within All There Is, nothing outside of This; about the idea that there are individuals and the belief that they can effect All There Is; the seeking and the suffering arising out of this confusion; this message is a real threat to the precious belief in individuals who are in charge of their destiny; about the sense of lack associated with this belief through which all the seeking for completeness arises; in the realization „You are That“ all fears disappear; there is nothing outside of All There Is, just This in the eternal present; about the simplicity of life and the mind's need of complications; nothing to do and no one to do it; awakening as the realization that there never was an individual -  the seeking stops; pain as an aspect of All There Is, happening to no one; about the common misconception in this kind of meeting – in fact no one prescribing anything, just a description of What Is, no instructions.

J.C. Amberchele - Being

WHAT AM I?

The Great Ones, the sages of every age, tell me what to look
for. They say that the answer lies not elsewhere but right
where I am, here where I am both the center and the source
of the universe. They say that, contrary to what I may think
I am, what I really am is formless, boundless, timeless,
and deathless; that I am utterly transparent, empty, not an
object. They say that this clarity that lies at the very heart
of my humanity is none other than the Self, God, Buddha,
Tao, and the Beloved, and that to see and be this requires no
change, no achievement, no struggle, for it is already what I
am; in fact, I cannot not be it. They say that no one else can
tell me what I am, that I must see for myself, and should I
discover this and live consciously from this, all will be right,
all will be true.

William Samuel - Now

TO DISCOVER REALITY AND UNCOVER TRANQUILITY WE BEGIN WITH THE NOW

Now is the only "time" one is ever concerned with. Reader, consider this a moment, because here and now, a magnificent first fact of Truth begins to unfold. It has to do with now; the primacy of now; the allness of now; the absoluteness of now.

When do we see a flower? That is, what time does the seeing take place? I see the flower now, we say.

When do we see the picture of a flower in a book? Now.

When do we smell the fragrance of a rose? When do we touch it, enjoy it, experience it? Now. When does one hear a voice or a melody? When does one experience the occurrence of any event? Now!

Listen carefully: When do we remember the event? When do we reminisce about the event? When do we think about the past? Now; always now!
When do we dream of a future event? When do we plan and calculate concerning future activities? Now. All experience, all activity, all memory of the past, dream of the future, thinking and thought taking are inevitably, invariably "happening" in the now. Isn't this so?

So you see, it becomes evident to anyone who stops long enough to acknowledge it, now is the only time we are ever concerned with. It is always now! We cannot escape it.

Even so, what has humanity done to now? What has man done to this ubiquitous, all-inclusive, ever-present now? He has made it the most infinitesimal part of a great time system. He has sandwiched it between a past that stretches infinitely in one direction, and a future that extends forever in the other. He has relegated it to the merest razor's edge on a sliding scale between a past and a future. Is this not so? To humanity, now-this very moment of Awareness-is so fleeting, so ephemeral and transitory, that one cannot find it on the very device used to measure it. Try to point to now on your watch and it is instantly past, a memory.

Ah, but when do we recall the memory? Now. When do we see the watch? Now. When does one speculate about the fleeting nature of humanity's time? Now. When does one awaken to the fact that he is never concerned with a past or a future except right now? Now! When does one experience? Now. So, reader, when do you expect to discover Reality? When do you expect to experience a "healing" or a "demonstration"? When do you expect to experience completeness and happiness? Now!

Uradiance - Now a perfect grace

Now a perfect grace pours into this world as never before, a radiant stream of joy, peace and healing.

Yet the channel of this grace is subtler than ever before. It's channel is not thought, word, or deed, but the space between thoughts, the silence between words, the stillness between deeds. To taste the miracle, one must shift awareness to a different place, a more inward and intimate place. This is not difficult. In fact, it is too simple, for the ego wants to do something harder. Mind loves difficulty, but Grace requires being without thought for at least a moment.

This new healing power cannot be organized, institutionalized, occupied, or enacted. It does not come through ideology, political activism, or religious work. The new medium is Presence itself.

Institutions, belief-systems, and educational models from the past have already collapsed. Their substance is like an echo. But Presence now takes on a diamond-like solidity.

One must learn to endure it without hope or blame. For hope is of the future, and blame is of the past, but Presence is transparent with innocence. No one is ever to blame, and there is nothing to hope for.

The shift to the new creation is simple: just settle inward from thinking to Being. The distance is less than the width of a hair.

Let your heart rest in the hollow core of its center. Do not doubt the tidal wave of Grace that will flow through you.

Jalal ad-Din Rumi - No Expectations

NO EXPECTATIONS

A spirit that lives in this world
and does not wear the shirt of love,
such an existence is a deep disgrace.

Be foolishly in love,
because love is all there is.

There is no way into presence
except through a love exchange.

If someone asks, But what is love?
answer, Dissolving the will.

True freedom comes to those
who have escaped the questions
of free will and fate.

Love is an emperor.
The two worlds play across him.
He barely notices their tumbling game.

Love and lover live in eternity.
Other desires are substitutes
for that way of being.

How long do you lay embracing a corpse?
Love rather the soul, which cannot be held.

Anything born in spring dies in the fall,
but love is not seasonal.

With wine pressed from grapes,
expect a hangover.

But this love path has no expectations.
You are uneasy riding the body?
Dismount. Travel lighter.
Wings will be given.

Be clear like a mirror
reflecting nothing.

Be clean of pictures and the worry
that comes with images.

Gaze into what is not ashamed
or afraid of any truth.

Contain all human faces in your own
without any judgment of them.

Be pure emptiness.
What is inside that? you ask.
Silence is all I can say.

Lovers have some secrets
that they keep.

Mary McGovern - Sweet Spot

Image: Elena Ray

Sweet Spot

When did a single deep breath equal ecstasy?

When did the tender aches of the body
become sweet comfort?

When did the fatigue of personhood
transform into fathomless gratitude?

When did imagination bow
to universal truth?

When did *I* rise up as nothing?

When did love have no meaning
and was everything?

Now.

In between starting and ending,

I am.

Rumi - The inspiration you seek

The inspiration you seek is already within you.
Be silent and listen.
